Which stocks are funded?

All stocks categorized under Group 1 are available for funding, as per SEBI regulations. Group 1 stocks are defined based on their trading frequency and impact cost. Specifically:

Criteria for Group I:

  • Stocks that have traded on at least 80% of the trading days over the previous six months are considered for Group I and II.
  • Among these, stocks with a mean impact cost of 1% or less are classified as Group I stocks.

How to Identify Group 1 Stocks:

  • Group 1 stocks are those with an indicator value of "1" as highlighted in the screenshot below. Check list for stocks here.

These Group 1 stocks are eligible for Margin Trade Funding (MTF), allowing you to leverage your investments effectively.
