Shares pledged as collateral for Margin Trade Funding (MTF) cannot be sold directly from the trading system while they are being used for margin. You can use them for taking positions in MTF, but selling requires unpledging the shares first.

Steps to Unpledge Shares:

1. Go to Accounts > Funds > Pledge (under Seg: MTF)

2. Open the Unpledge tab on the Pledge page

3. Select the shares you want to unpledge and submit the request

Important: Unpledge requests submitted before 5 PM will have the shares available in your holdings from the next trading day. Once the shares are available in your holdings, you can sell them at your discretion.
