Why does it take few minutes to update my Fund transfer

With recent changes, fund transfers need to be allocated to the Clearing Corporation (widely known as allocation process) before they are updated in your margin.

  1. Allocation Requirement: Fund transfers now need to be allocated to the Clearing Corporation before updating in margin. Previously, trading was possible immediately after transferring funds.

  2. Definition of Allocation: Allocation involves assigning transferred funds to the Clearing Corporation against the client's Unique Client Code (UCC) in the relevant trading segment.

  3. Example of Allocation: If Client A transfers ₹50 lakhs and Client B transfers ₹20 lakhs for F&O trading, these amounts are allocated to their respective UCCs in the F&O segment by the Trading Member.
