Opening Foreign National Account

Purpose

  • To Exercise ESOP Shares: Facilitate the exercise of Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) shares.

  • To Dematerialize Indian Shares Held: Convert physical share certificates into electronic form.

Required Documents

  • Account Opening Form: Must be duly signed by all account holders.

  • PAN Card: Permanent Account Number issued by the Indian Income Tax Department. If you don't have a PAN, we can assist in obtaining it through an agent.
  • Foreign Passport: Required for identification purposes.
  • Bank Account Proof: Latest foreign bank statement including account details, bank address, SWIFT code, beneficiary name, and account number.
  • Proof of Foreign Address: Any of the following documents can be used:
    • Latest bank account statement
    • Passport with address
    • Driver's license
    • Utility bill

Process

  1. Schedule a Call: Contact our Onboarding Executive to discuss account options and provide the necessary details.
  2. Download and Verify Forms: Our executive will send you pre-filled forms. Download, review, and verify them.
  3. Sign and Notarize Documents: Sign the forms, self-attest, and notarize the supporting documents.
  4. Send Original Documents: Mail the original signed documents to the following address:
