Trading in Commodity Options
At Navia, you can trade in Commodity Options on the MCX exchange. Here are the important details you should know before placing trades:
Commodity Options Available in CNC (Delivery) Product
The following commodity option contracts can be traded in CNC product type:

Silver | 30 Kgs |
SilverM | 5 Kgs |
Zinc | 5 MT (Metric Tonnes) |
Commodity Options Available in MIS (Intraday) Product
For intraday trading (MIS product), only the following options contracts are allowed due to liquidity considerations:

⚠️ MIS is blocked for all other commodity options contracts, as they are generally illiquid and not suitable for intraday trading.
Contract Availability
- Only the current month’s commodity options contracts are available for trading.
- The next month’s options contract becomes available one day prior to the expiry of the current month’s contract.
Futures Contracts
For MCX Futures contracts:
- Both current month and near month contracts are available for trading.
- MIS product (intraday) is allowed for these contracts.
