How do I convert physical mutual fund units to Demat mode.
1. What is Mutual Fund Conversion in NSDL?
Mutual Fund Conversion refers to the process of converting physical mutual fund units (held in Statement of Account (SoA) form) into electronic form (dematerialized) under your NSDL demat account.
2. What is Mutual Fund Reconversion?
Reconversion is the reverse process – converting dematerialized mutual fund units held in your NSDL demat account back to physical form (SoA) with the Registrar & Transfer Agent (RTA).
3. Who can request for Conversion/Reconversion?
Any NSDL demat account holder with mutual fund units in physical or demat form can initiate a request, provided the mutual fund scheme is eligible and supported by the concerned AMC and RTA.
4. How do I convert my mutual fund units to demat form?
Just follow these steps:
Online Process: Click here
Offline process: Fill in the Conversion request form (Click Here)
Attach your original Statement of Account (SoA)
Provide a copy of PAN.

Navia will forward your request to the RTA via NSDL for Conversion.
5. How do I reconvert demat units back to physical SoA?
